Patch hats

A patch is a small made object - your idea worked up as its own piece, then set onto whatever it is going to live on. Hats come first here, and they are still what most people walk in holding. A patch reads across the front panel from a room away.

Every patch is made to order, so the starting point is your idea: a saying, a symbol, a name, a joke that makes sense to about six people. And you do not have to buy a blank from us to start - bring the cap you already wear, and we will work from there.

Embroidered caps

Embroidery is thread sewn straight into the garment, worked from a digitized stitch file that tells the machine where every needle drop goes. A structured crown holds a stitch the way thin cotton never will, and a cap is the piece most people come here for first.

A cap front is a small, curved, structured panel, so a wordmark with hairline strokes or a registered-trademark symbol at the corner will close up in thread. Send it and we will look before you commit to anything - if it needs simplifying we will show you what that means. The digitized file stays on record, so the reorder is a message rather than a project.

    Then it is yours. Your file stays on record, so the reorder next season is a message rather than a project.
